KP1911 pistol replica (green gas)
The replica made by the KJW company is made almost fully of metal. The only elements that are made of plastic are the pistol grip covering panels and some minor elements of the inner mechanism.
The model is made very neatly and is well balanced what significantly increases its stability while shooting. The pistol’s weight itself – almost one kilogram – does not only increase the realism, but also allows to balance the effect of the strong blow-back system.
What is important, the replica can be easily and quickly disassembled and assembled back together – what is very important when it comes to the green-gas models.
The replica is equipped with a thumb safety lever located on the right side of the replica and it is within the range of the thumb. The second safety that prevents from an accidental discharge, for example in result of hooking the trigger on the holster is located in the back of the pistol grip. There is no possibility of shooting unless the replica is held in a proper manner.
We are dealing with a very realistic blow-back system. The slide moves backwards with each shot and, subsequently, goes to the initial position and loads the BB pellet at the same time. After shooting the last round and emptying the magazine the slide remains in the backwards position. The “kick” is very strong what is doubtless an advantage for the fans of increased realism in the encounter.
The set includes:
- the replica,
- a magazine,
- a hop-up adjustment wrench

It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).
1 FPS = 0,3 m/s
1 J = 99 m/s
1 J = 326,7 FPS

The length of the replca is measured between the two most distant points of each other. Different models have several of these values, because of its design allows to increase or decrease it length (eg. folding stock or extended flash hider).
This is a value that includes the weight of the replica, magazine and other accessories that are include in set without a battery, charger, cleaning rod, etc., etc.

Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.
